Dr. Tom Haug was born and raised in Kansas. Dr. Haug received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1982 from Kansas State University. He practiced in Kansas City for three years before becoming associated with Belmont Veterinary Center in 1985. He and his wife, Karen, have six children. He enjoys camping, reading, and model railroading.
Dr. Adam Gengenbach is from Grant, NE. - near the western border with Colorado. He grew up involved in agriculture, farming and ranching. He went to undergraduate and graduate school at Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2003. He is married to his wife, Summer, and have one child - Grant. They have 2 healer dogs, an assortment of barn cats and many horses. When he is not working at Belmont Veterinary Center he will freelance doing general equine medicine and dentistry. He enjoys family life, sports, and lots of horse stuff. He is very glad to be involved with with Belmont Veterinary Center because of the excellant level of animal care, and the level of commitment of all the staff that all the animals receive the best care possible. Having several doctors with varied interests enables Belmont to operate synergistically to consult on difficult cases and to quickly and effectively formulate treatment plans and to modify those plans as necessary. It is very fulfilling and enjoyable for him to work with a group of people who care so deeply for the wellbeing and comfort of the animals and their owners as well.
